Houston St. Mercantile is located on the historic town square of Granbury, TX. Granbury is a quaint and authentic example of a typical Victorian town. Opened in 1992 as a gift shop, Houston St. Mercantile has evolved into one of the most versatile fabric shops in the Metroplex area. We carry over 4,000 bolts of fabric in a wide selection of batiks, flannels and the finest quality cottons for sewing and quilting from major manufacturers such as Free Sprit, Westminister, RJR, Hoffman, Moda, Michael Miller, Robert Kaufman, and Timeless Treasures.
We are open seven days a week. Our staff members, all quilters and seamstresses themselves, are knowledgeable, friendly and ready to help you with your next project. Houston St. Mercantile also offers professional longarm machine quilting service to the public. Please call for prices or instructions if you wish to mail a quilt to us.
We offer classes, specialty bees, and original patterns found only at Houston St. Mercantile, and we'd love to meet you in person. If that's not possible, we hope you will find what you need on our site, and remember, we offer free shipping for orders over $100.
